I mean it's not as though I need any more power right now, my team seems to be capable of roflstomping anything the game can throw at me, it's just wanting to play with new toys and all that. Swapping 1H for 2H weapons would be cool. One bow or dagger for another, meh, when my rangers backstab something or my archers shoot something they are as good as dead already and you can't get deader than dead.
Meaning a lot of these special weapons effects are damage over time etc but dead enemies don't bleed, or die again from poison.
Take the pair of weapons you get from Ludern Tomb for example, the bow and the spear. I don't know how good they are in practice 'cos I haven't tried them - it would cost many many thousands of krowns to upgrade them at this point.
But the point is to get them to work you've got to shoot 'em with the one and then skewer 'em with the other for which feat you get 2VP and an attack of opportunity as a bonus
Great....except that if the enemy is already dead after the first shot or stab then for you there is no 2VP bonus nor are there any bonus AoOs on dead bodies. And if they aren't already dead then you are dealing with a seriously under powered weapon. Why take two shots at an enemy when one will suffice?
Meh. I'll just take my mastercrafted rimesteel pike and bow laced with crit oil and have done with it I think. Works every time, no ifs, no buts.
