weapon defines class like in xcom
combat is turn based, but with a initativ row instead of Team Turns (like in the xcom2 spinoff game) . but you can choose what unused soldier takes your next action place.
the movement grit is not one full square but 1/2 Meter siced steps, where a Human takes 1x1, some animals can take more space.
attacks dont end your turn, you can freely divide your movement ynd do action/attacks inbetwen (ever played the Second Edition of the Boardgame Decent? )
each char can choose skills/perks when he levels up, most are class specific, you can learn some alroundskills from books as well. skills have no CD but, and thats a big but most newbys stumble over, they cost Valour Points to use and this Valour Points come out of a Teamwide Pool.
