thrown weapon sickle question
I have a blue sickle that gives +8 guard, and it can be thrown, do they get picked up later or is it one and done?

If it is, then it makes sense to never throw it.

wow, haven't seen this.

I know there are legendary axes in game that are throwing and returning....but haven't seen the sickle. I'd recommend saving right before a fight, throwing it, and seeing what happens after the fight. If you lose the sickle, then I guess decide if you want to reload or just lose the darn thing.

You don't get it back, but it's easy to craft though

so its not easy to craft, because it's not a basic weapon i'm referring to, and I can't reload a save due to ironman. but thanks for the insght all.

What buffs does it give? If you're a Ranger, just throw it, you don't need +8 guard, a throwing dagger is better. I suspect it is a consumable anyway. If you're any other one-handed class, just throw it, a shield gives you more guard than that sickle. The sickle exists to debuff enemies and do some damage.

I suspect it is just like the poisoned throwing dagger. It can be crafted later on. Might not be easy to craft it later on but a shield beats a sickle as far as guard is concerned.

At this time sickles, throwing daggers, and throwing axes are not reusable or collected post battle. So they are consumables and can run out mid battle. However, there is a legendary throwing axe that gives 10 crit chance and 10 crit damage and has infinite ammo.
