Why did you avoid the clouds? They are really weak. Was it fear?
Haven't seen white leather in vendors so far. I'll go check Tiltren's camp maybe I missed it.
And fear... kind of. I just didn't know what they were and guards/caravans seemed to immediately die when they walked through clouds. Seemed logical to avoid it and I assumed it was a story thing I'd learn eventually.
One more question - Some people seem to think ghost wolves can call reinforcements. If that's true, does that generate more leather? And do they call reinforcements reliably (like rat nests every 1 or X turn(s)? The ones I killed I always killed within 1 round.
As far as I can tell, the reinforcement in Region Locked starting in Tiltren, is just one single wave. They call for a ''boss'' type of ghost. (Lets say like that so It wont spoil for you).
It does have a different mechanic which you need to take a bit of care, but since your companions are already lvl 4 to 5, its not a big deal for you.
To be honest, I didnt notice any increase in the loot, so I always kill everything in the first round. In the other hand, just to add information, Rat nests does increase more loot as you keep killing them.
Its called Trackers Camp, and there are some unique equipment to be bought from there, and an unique quest there.
I ended up biting the bullet, bought supplies and went back to Tiltren to try my luck. Moved around for a while and got a ghost wolf. I just kept moving my guys to the edges of the battle map and after the end of the 1st round I saw the thingie spawn. Wasn't hard like you said. And fairly certain I received more leather for it. Maybe that's the answer I needed so thanks!
This is definitely bad info. You must be confusing the tanning rack with the drying one. Tiltren trackers do sell white leather though so I definitely missed that.
