Which difficulty were you playing?
In expert the early profit is horrible, until you actually unlock buffs and paths.
Agreed. Scalabilty is also an issue. The amount of goods you should transport should increase and the pay too at least up to a certain point.
Expert combat / expert survival / no enemy turn order.
I can comfortably get up to 1500 Krowns in the first 14 days and buy whatever I want. It requires only a tiny bit of min-max which is self evident.
1500 Krowns by constantly trading, 14 days trading? Because I understood you were getting 600 profit per trade since the first few days, which didnt make sense.
By day 14 I have way more than 1500 krowns, but not from trading.
So early in the game, I still have to pay for the wages and especially food since I don't have access to good recipes in the early game and I have to buy some.
My main problem is that there is no risk associated with trading (this is why instead of reducing the amount Krowns you get I'd rather have increased chances to get ambushed). Combats play a big role in Wartales and you have a mechanic that excessively rewards you for dodging them. It feels disjointed from the game.
