Wolf Body
I'm very new to this game, somehow I gained a wolf body in my inventory. No idea what it's for or where I got it. Any tip would be appreciated.

Are you talking about a carcass?

You can eat it for little food, but the best use IMO is to build a tanning rack (you can get the recipe from the Trackers' Camp in Tiltren) to turn it into Cured Meat.

However, if your inventory weigh is running short, maybe you'd best dump it, as it's heavy (2kg per carcass) for little use.

10 carcasses are used as bait to escape an animal encounter. That happens as an option bc you have forgotten you have so many.

There is also a recipe for wolf sausage that might be useful. Since you said body try burying it if it is weighing you down.

They moved it or is it random? Trackers camp in Tiltren gave me fish (later meat) curing rack and the tracker camp in Vertuse gave me Stocks for holding prisoners. Just started exploring Arthes to see if I can get a tanning rack for producing leather there. The other thing im dying to find is the recipe for a lute so I can start using the bard profession.

@Ommamar:
Wolf Sausages requires Wolf Meat, not Animal Carcass.

@watchzero:
IIRC, the recipes sold by Trackers are fixed, not random.
The Lute recipe can be found in Ludern, apparently, but I haven't been there yet. A druid in the Vertruse Tracker Camp hints at it.

"Wolf Body" might mean the carcass, or your wolf member died during the battle.

I didn't know we could eat the dead wolf member, I thought it's just a body in a bag that should be buried somewhere on the map. (I just cbf, I throw the body away, even my own mercs. No point having a grave for a merc. I suppose for realism's sake, you can make a grave somewhere but I just cbf most of the time.)

I've never had anyone die in my party, be it animal or human, so I assumed that "Wolf Body" was actually an "Animal Carcass".

If that's not the same, then I'm sorry about the misunderstanding, and not replying the the question. :(
