...can you drop stuff from your main inventory?
...pretty much the title.

I was exploring last night, went kind of out of the way, and wasn't watching my weight. Fought several fights, grabbing all loot by reflex, and realized accidentally I'd become overburdened.

...I camped, activated the banner thing that gives me more carry capacity, and went on.

Then, fought a few more animal packs - and, without thinking about it until it was too late, looted all again... :cgpout:

So, now I'm a ways into the wilderness, moving very slowly from overweight, and realized I can't figure out how to drop anything.

There's got to be something I'm missing, I'd imagine there has to be a way and I'll feel silly when someone tells me where it is, but I swear I couldn't find it last night... Can you drop stuff?

In the meantime, think I'll pick up a couple more ponies... :)

There is a trash bin in the top left of your inventory.

lol... I knew I'd feel silly when someone pointed it out...

I was getting all complicated - right clicking, dragging, playing with the character inventories... (sigh!)

Or you can just left click to pick it up and drag it out of the inventory and it'll ask if you want to discard the stuff when you release.

huh - could have swore I tried that...

Anyway, thanks for the responses. I'll probably still add some ponies, for some more overhead, but good to know!

...so, where is the trash can icon? Looking at the game now, only thing in the top left of my inventory screen is the sort button...

It only appears when you're dragging an item.
