Here, see if this helps.
You really dont need sound to do that. Which youtuber is telling you to follow the sound? lol ...
all you need is to gentle tap your click all around it, until your gentle tap dont stop the pick right away. Once your gentle tap found that softer spot, its no secret, its around there.
I am probably with the same pick from i have no idea how many chests already.
HEY! I hate that puzzle, can't stand them, and love the game :P
Its more about making a great deal of It or not.
To quote the OP :
Specially the part: "Loving the game but gonna stop play". Dude Is loving the game but met a 30 seconds puzzle and "ok, I am done". ????
And you can clearly see he closed the game right away to create a post to rant about it, so fast, he didnt even met Solvious.
What about creating a post: "I am having fun with the game so far. But I am having some trouble with the slider puzzle in the Tiltren Tomb, Is there a guide for It or any tips you could share to help me?"
Sounds way more mature to me.
Fair point good sir.
There are a number of people who have piped up about people not liking the puzzles or imply that maybe they are stupid, instead of the puzzles.....they know who they are.
Steam is a community of gamers, who don't have to like the same style game. However we should all understand getting frustrated and asking for help when some part of our game (and thus our leisure time) has become not fun. If you can help that person, then do so. If not, then before you mouth off with a comment that doesn't help and just makes the person feel bad, take this opportunity to keep your mouth shut and go to the next thread.
I agree. When the thread is about asking for help, give help or GTFO, don't make fun of people for having different skill sets or prefferences. But when someone says that a puzzle is stupid - not they can't solve it or didn't like it, but called it so stupid that they raged quit straight away just for it being a puzzle - then that's a different matter.
hahaha. The moment op was pretty ''stupid'' in his post, I got myself that right to be as well. Its the law.
That's right. Show them Olleus Spearwall.
I mean the lockpicking minigame isn't really too different from the Skyrim lockpicking game - it's nice to see that one on its way to being an industry standard.
The places that punish you when you break a pick are dumb as ♥♥♥♥, though, as there's not a way to consistently locate the right spot without breaking a pick, and pick durability seems to carry over from chest to chest, so sometimes you have a pick that's going to break almost instantly.
Cursed village chests are incredibly stupid.
The tile starting points are randomized and the runes you make are the runes you see in the codex translations, so its not hard to figure out what you're making. It's really rare that you have one that takes more than about 10 moves to solve
What you want to do is locate the corner pieces and assemble a single row or column of 3, and then it will be very easy to solve from there. I usually do the top because it's easiest to visualize and because the empty square is always the lower right corner.
