Antiquities
So on the face of it, it looks like they're just items to sell but they're their own item class so I'm wonder is there something more you can do with them or a specific place you can sell them for more?

At first I thought that we might need them later in another tomb or something like that.
But the antiquities you get seem to be random, which makes me think they are just a nice lump of krowns.

If anyone has a definitive answer, I'd be interested too :)

All the time I was sure that in the full version there will be some museum or collector, where you will be able to hand over your findings.

Are they still just a junk for trade? Been caring them around for 1,5 years now =)

Do rubees and Saphires have any purpose should I just sell them?

You can sell them for a higher price to archaeologists in Vertruse as soon as there tower opens up for business (You reaching level 8 in Knowledge path) that is it...

The antiquities dealer is located in Vertruse, Fellowship of Knowledge.

Prices can be found in the section "Antiquities trading"

Yea, I've been saving them as well, I guess it's time to dump them.

I'm pretty sure the devs confirmed at some point in patch notes that they are just meant to be sold for krowns.

You need it for some crafting, just keep a some. I use it to train thief profession. 1 stack of 500 is about 80K gold per cycle.

Generally, there doesn't seem to be any use for them, but there is one mission where you have to hand them over to complete it

What about the items that you restore but aren't weapons or specific to missions?

If it has the label "Antiquities" you can just sell it. Unless you like collecting such stuff purely for personal reasons. At this point in time, antiquities are purely ornamental. But who knows, maybe in a few months, there might be some new thing linked to it.
