How do I finish the arthes tomb quest?

Pretty sure I explored every corner and found 2 corpse, but the NPC still says she "needs to find her friends" and leave the quest unfinished.

This has been an issue since the early days. Its either not completed, maybe a certain infected needs to be captured, or maybe its supposed to be one of those situations were the NPC is in denial. After a long time of this being an issue I would have to say its the denial option.

Emm.. Denial? This game can't probably be that deep can it? Isn't developer oversight seems to be the most probable explanation? xd

Why do you think that a girl looking for her friends is a quest? Is this girl marked as a quest on the scale map? I perceive this girl as a complication of the combat that the game offers you. Want to hire a girl and the fight will be a little more difficult. If you don't want to, you can just heal her and take the torch from her. Why did you decide that this is a developer flaw? Once again --- in the global map, it is not marked as a quest.

I would have taken the option, had I known that there's no proper closure to the girls story. I mean in real lift there is no proper closure for a lot of things, but for video games? Sounds like unfinished quests and developer's oversight...

I was able to get closure for her, but it didn't give me an option to hire her. It took me two trys of searching the tomb, not sure I missed something first time round, or if I needed to go back. It certainly isn't an oversight on the devs part, it does come to a conclusion! If you find all the dead bodys of her companions in the tomb, there will be a dialog and reward once you exit again

And for those that don't know there are three bodies, the hardest to spot is the one in the room you can enter from above by rope. Loot all three and on exiting the tomb she'll thank you and give you her reward.

It was a broken quest from the early access era. I started a fresh game when v1.0 came out and it was working fine. Unfortunately I don't think any early access saves got fixed so it might just stay broken

It's not universally broken, the OP refers to 2 corpses but there are 3. I found them the other day ok and the girl completed the quest dialogue and gave me a reward. Maybe there are some circumstances in which the third corpse doesn't appear, but it may just be a case of having missed it.

I had to rotate the view to see the third body, would've missed it entirely had I not looked up a video on how to complete the quest.

This is legit. Quest is not broken. Devs are not lazy. There is a God . We are all going to make it.
