Found The Lute? No, But...
INFORMATIONAL:
I did not find the seller of the Lute, but I did find a seller of the Lute Blueprint, which I used to construct the Lute at camp (Leather X 4, Wood X 6, Rope X 6, and Grease X 2). In my game the blueprint is sold by Noelossa, an innkeeper, at Elorian, in the County of Arthes. I have to assign a Bard companion to the Lute. I cannot play the Lute at the inn until I camped (rested) for two times. My first time playing the Lute at the inn consisted of about 20 notes. I've never played the video game called, "Guitar Hero", so I did not do well. I do not understand when I watched a YouTube video, where game player only have to strum FIVE notes. Anyway, the game version may have something to do with finding the blueprint. My game version is V.1.0.28021. Also, for reference, in my game Elorian is the third town I am visiting. Good luck to those who are still searching for the Lute; I hope this help.

For me the blueprint was sold by Whatsherface in Marheim's inn.

And I thought that I just got lucky in finding the blueprint. Thank you both for your replies.

Tell me, if it so easy to get the Lute, why is there so many threads and so many postings of this subject of finding the Lute in this forum?

Check the dates, could be that it used to be harder to get the lute in the past as it was only sold in a high region-specific level region or something.

...and being fair, a lot of the time issues people bring up stem from their own poor job of looking for something.

I don't know //Wandering flare//. Some of them are in June and one, more recent, in July. Anyway, the forum helped me many times, including you, so I thought I should return the favor. Cheers!

Oh, it's a long and sad story. A long time ago when the trees were big...:steammocking: Before the release, the lute was a valuable prize, as it gave 1 the will needed to survive. It could only be found in Ludern, in the cursed village of Lethir. And of course, finding her was associated with great difficulties .... I remember the times (I'm very old) when 13 willpower points were enough to survive, and a mosquito - a cardinal, could heal your companion or fiercely attack an enemy archer ... Yes, a lot of water gone since then...

TLDR: Lute used to be gated behind cursed village in Ludern in version 1.0. (12 April 2023) Devs wanted to make it more accessible so they moved it to an NPC in Vertruse. (12 June 2023) But that NPC progresses on & disappears some way through the Gosenberg main quests . This meant that players who progressed on couldnt get the lute at all. Devs fixed it by making it purchasable from most taverns. (26 June 2023)
