[Bug] Game causes PC to black screen & restart?

It's happening to me very sporadically, happened 2 times in a span of 5 minutes, and after starting a new game (after save corruption) it happened again after 2 or 3 hours of gameplay while fighting the boars in snow area and capturing a king boar or something...

Go into you settings and change windows crash recovery to pause.. Some super fast PC's do not even show the screen and go direct to rebooting// See the link on how to do it. If this is what is happening then you need to try CLEAN install of Video drivers (Total removal of old) and open Command as admin and run SFC /scannow...

The issue is that it is not restarting immediately nor showing the blue screen of death, it's putting my screen in black, and I can't do anything, or if I do I can't tell, still hear the audio, but after a couple of minutes of that black screen the PC restarts...

How long are you able to play before this happens?

Any mods installed?

Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?

black screen with no instant reboot means mosttimes the grafic card driver crashed and windows was not able to ressurect it.
can be a simple problem with a optional grafic function the hardware dont takes to well or
the driver itself is faulty or
hardware overheat (what can also crash the grafic driver, learned this fact with unity engine games) or
the grafic hardware is on its last leg

This game is the only one and the first to give me this issue (using an RTX 2080TI X 2 in SLI config, yes I know SLI is dying but at the time I built this one it was promising), maybe this game just hates SLI?

It takes most of the time 3~5 hours of game-play for the issue to happen, though I've had a time where it happen again within 30 min of the firs reboot of the day.

I had the same issue, just bought the game, tried to boot it up twice, crashed my computer the second the main menu popped up.

If you have a splitter adapter on the end of you power cord for you video try removing it and using single lines...

I'm using Display Port, it's an Ultra Wide CRG90

It doesn't happened on other games. Only wartales. Clearly the problem of the game.
SHIRO have to prioritize fix this problem.

luchilo SLI is no Problem for the game, have a 1070TI GTX SLI myself and no problems.
But by any chance you use Nvidia Experiance? if so disable this Sh..pile and look if that cures your problem. It can really mess up and create problems with its "tuned" grafic options up to game crashes....

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.

This was hapening to me in my older pc, it keep crashing the game and windows and that pc actualy stop working in the second week prior to this. in the new pc i have not even tried to play the game until i know they fix these things because it is bug of the game 100% i had everthing updated as always and my pc was a 2000 euros pc with 32 ram so dont blame ram and dont blame not updated graphic cards . And ofc i was playing other games and the other games never crashed and i never record having a game crashing my windows in 17 years of gaming and i play regularly, a lot and many diferent games. So it was defenetly the problem of this game in specific. So i would like to know if is there any one still with this problem, cause i dont wanna risk damaging my new pc and want to know if the problem has been resolved.

4090 here reporting display issues with JUST WarTales. Played Halo MCC for 4 hours as well as Cyberpunk for 4 hours just to stress the GPU and had no issues whatsoever. There's something odd about WarTales.
