Captain Hostes and Abbot Theocene quests blocking each other

If you start both quests at the same time, you can't dismiss them forever, can't enter areas.

yeah, seriously, how dare they takeing some normal Human sense into account. Specialy because one of the 2 dont want to enter the Enemy Castle as well. Death isnt that fearsome...

Should I attempt to find a way to remove Capt Hostes? Hes been with me for a while and at this point is he perm in the group? Actually wondering at some point he goes along with this peasent thats following me or is that normal :) The Capt does nothing at this point .. just wondering as well.

I dropped off Abbot before taking Hostes. Could you try going to either the hidden camp or the bridge to drop one of them off first?

I have finished both tasks, and all that left was to end both quests...

Sure, the fact that characters from hostile factions could coexist peacefully in my party and that they didn't have enough intelligence to hide outside the gates when I entered the castle was certainly very immersive.

At the end of each of these quests, you get the option to attack/kill the quest giver. If you do that and took the 'kill deserters'quest from the legion (without taking either 'recruit deserters' quest from the lords), you will be notified that the Legion colonel wants to see you. He'll yell for awhile, then use your actions as his excuse for the Legion to step in. He wants to anyway, and its the only way to finish the zone without supporting either lord's cause if you didn't want to.

I kind of forget, but quest givers are in castle or abbey, right? Problem is I can't enter those areas, because these two ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are hostile.

I've never taken both quests simultaneously, but if you have both guys, you may still be able to finish the quests: one ends at the unstable bridge and the other ends at the concealed camp. Killing one of them may solve your problem, because then you don't have to escort him home, allowing you to enter the other guy's place.

I forgot and now unknown how to remove Capt hostes ? lol anyone know the quest for this?

With Hostes you need to attack a black caravan. Once you've done so, the cut screens will tell you what to do next.

Honestly, kill both. Mine is still glitched on the Unstable Bridge, probably due to what peeps are discussing here. Also, it's more beneficial for you to kill both of em. You won't have to return the stupid abbot back and as for the Captain guy, you kill him, you get all the gold AND his stupid spear. Like, honestly speaking, the guy is shifty as hell. If he was truly loyal to his count, he'd be by his side AFTER the quest is done n dusted but nope, he's long gone. Killing him also further corroborates this point cos after you kill him, it should technically be considered a war crime but your crime meter doesn't even go up.
