Cannot Get The Puzzle Piece.

Started a new game, just to experience the new systems, and wow did they build a whole lot of bugs in this time. One of the bigger ones is that the scholar no longer appears at the ...Arthes gate offering the puzzle piece to open the locked box in the monastary basement. Tried starting again, same issue. Also, the guild mission no longer shows up where you compete to raid the camp near tiltren. Anyone else having these?

All the faction quests appear to have been removed with the last update - Septelle, bandit camp/merc fight, scholars tale and merchants tale. The process has left a fair bit of mess in terms of loose threads and dead ends which is a bit frustrating. Presumably these quests, or similar ones, will come back when the next tiers of the pathways are unlocked, although the rewards will seem pretty paltry by the time you get to those levels.

As pd28 said a bunch of quests/characters were removed. I guess they forgot to remove the chest that requires the puzzle piece to open. You can still complete the quest though.
i got it worst, started a new run two days before the update and got stuck with Septelle once they removed the quest. Had to restart.

These guys are suuuuper awesome at this update/expansion stuff. I guess that's what I should expect from a company that flashes the warning that "all data up to this point will be lost", every time I save a game.
