I left mine in the trading post I built in the first zone until I find how to use them because they weight too much.

I think if you put them on the tanning rack they produce white leather

my pre update save could only make jerky from them, but as everyone else has said white leather is probably the goal.

They're a brand new item from this latest update you can make jerky on the drying rack and white leather on the tanning rack.

Upgraded rack, lvl 2 or 3 not sure but you can turn ghost carcass into 2 pieces of white leather

Guy above you gave the correct answer. Check the recipes/scrolls at your local tracker camp and trade fangs for it.
