Please help with Winfrith's quest

I got the trackers quest and found Winfrith and saved him from the plagued village. I had to kill the women Saunna(?) and then he asked me to escort him after meeting at the remote location. I went to the dead body, followed the blood trail, killed a ghost pack, followed the blood trail some more, then killed another ghost pack. After that, there was no blood trail and I got the reward from the trackers camp. I still have Winfrith in my group and can't figure out where to take him. Yes I looked at the map, and it's getting really frustrating. I don't mind a spoiler for his location. Do I just need to take him there and the quest is done? Thanks.

I suspect you have hit 2 normal Ghost packs, and not the "named" one that Winfrith wants. Suggest you try the trail again? Did Winfrith indicate that there was a massacre at the site and there was a survivor, and ask you to track the survivor?

Perhaps I'm doing two different quests. After killing the 2nd ghost pack, I got rewarded by the trackers camp. I found the bodies for that quest near the Ludern jail. Is there a different location that triggers the Winfrith quest? I couldn't get your link to work.

Winfrith's map leads to a position south of the Garussa plateau. You can start from Garussa, and drop a piton down to the south, look for the site of a "massacre".
