Did you find the local pig farm? Once you uncover the appropriate location (just by exploring naturally), it will be obvious where you're supposed to go.

He's with some runaway slaves, look for a group with a pitchfork icon. Pig will only cost you some influence points

Sometimes I'm surprised at how inattentively people play. They don't read the dialogues, they don't delve into the mechanics. I have a friend who finished the game and never learned that you can place hooks from the mountain. And when I saw his characters and how he developed them, I wanted to cry.

I think it's because some people have the mindset that this game is purely about hitting max level as quickly as possible through non-stop combat, and "completing" it in a very linear fashion. That approach completely misses out on so much of the games content and character. I probably have more hours in-game than is healthy, but I still find ways to vary the challenge and each update, whether it's the free stuff or the paid DLCs just adds to this.
