Temp Valor Points?

Can someone explain why sometimes I end my turn beside a ally, get a yellow temp valor point but next round I don't have it... Confusing, sometimes they stay sometimes not.

They don't last from fight to fight.

Within a fight, though-
Some skills use them, so if you consume one and move to the next merc, it will have disappeared.

Valor points are a pool among your entire troop, not individual - you consumed the temporary valor point on a different merc over the round.

Ooooh I didn't realize that it was a pool for the whole troop, I thought each merc had there own thanks!

Common mistake, they sort of do a bad job of explaining the difference between the orange and yellows lol
