Did they finally add the zoom in option yet?

i heard awhile ago that they were working on it. Is that still happening? Units felt too far away on my screen so I refunded cause it was really annoying

I agree. For the love of GOD please implement higher zoom in/out! Everybody playing this game isn't in there 20s....SMH.

I´m just 4 hours into the game and that´s the first thing i feelt is off, please add more camera zoom :)

yeah thats why I stopped playing, I just couldn't enjoy it. If they added that It would be amazing,

Same here. I never wanted to play an "ant simulator". Zero enjoyment, especially on a 80" HDR screen. Unbelievable and so strange for not implementing such a basic feature. I so regret this purchase.

Totally ridiculous that we don't have better screen zoom options! I agree 100%. Maybe they will implement a patch that will make this game right for ALL. Otherwise they will alienate a whole potential customer base.

No need to zoom in. The distance is good. The distance is also exactly what you might expect in a top-down isometric squad-based RPG like this.

But temporarily zooming *OUT* during deployment, before the battle begins, so we can see the whole battlefield, combined with separate highlight buttons for friendly and hostile units, would have been extremely helpful and user-friendly. It would make deployment smooth sailing.

Some of you say you stopped playing because you can't zoom in... Didn't you watch the trailers and screenshots from the game before you bought it ?? It was pretty clear to me before I bought it that this was *not* going to be a zoom-in-very-close kind of game. I was not misled.

huh, i thought zoom in/out system is one of those things
that everybody agrees it as essential QOL improvement
i was wrong i guess

welp, i agree some people claiming
'i cant play this game cuz no zoom'
is bit over dramatic

but gotta admit, during 700hr of playtime
i felt annoyance in many occasion
because of no zoom function

and this is one of those feature
that you dont have to use it
literally it's simple QOL improvement
that no one have to suffer for it
so i hope dev implemented this soon

I like more zoom in to see my mercs how to act and kill, maybe even cinematic cam angle like Xcom would be perfect for me.

Exactly - unfortunately I wasn't able to refund on time. 4K playing on an 80 inch screen is very painful with this game.

How big screens you all have ?? You all have monster screens these days ? I have 24 inches, which is good enough for me. Everything else is up to date, graphic card is top-notch and so forth, but I suppose I lag behind on the screen, and I suppose that explains why you are all so obsessed with zoom-function...

I have an 80 inch 4K with Game Mode / HDR. I don't like to play games on a post stamp size device - like watching a movie an a laptop versus in a movie theater. This game which I totally gave up on looks like an 'ant walking simulator' for me. From all the games I own, it is a purchase I regret 100%. The only time I didn't watch a gameplay on YT prior buying it. The second disappointment was the fact that there is zero immersion.
