Hi, is there a way to open the tomb in Arthes and help the lady find her friendz?
Sorry, this game has only half-baked wiki. Can you please let me know if there is any way to open the door that is initially locked from the other side?

Ye, I have already found a diagram. I guess, I will just stockpile some torches and do a lot of searching.

there isn't much point unlocking it like bit of exp if levelling a scholar and a short cut out like it just forms a loop in the tomb as for the friends it seems to be an unfinished quest i searched that sucker head to toe cleared every room but please say if someone found a way to complete it

As I understand there is no "friends" yet in the game so don't take that lady if you are at higher levels as she will be a burden. And stockpiling torches is a way to go for tombs...

higher levels? i just wouldn't take her at all if there isn't a quest yet. like i wish i knew when i took her with me at lvl 5 or 6 or whatever i was she was just a burden and all for nothing with no quest

Thanks again mate, you saved me some time running in circles like crazy. I usually use paper to draw myself a map of the tombs, so I know I didn't miss anything. So this dialogue did confuse me, especially when I got the tomb achievement unlocked anyway...

no prob i was in your shoes at one stage(...minus the drawing my own tomb maps lol) i just save scummed to double check that i didn't miss them somehow then read it online to confirm what was up. So i wanted to save you the pain as for the puzzle doors you just got to keep an eye out for the symbols while you explore they will be in random rooms that i did almost write down but i had plenty of torches so just wasted 2 or 3 and gave the symbols i saw nick names like red zigzag, blue target, yellow broken window ect but just so we are clear the symbols are random to your game so you can't just look up the answers online you actually have to look for them or guess to open the doors

All 3 tombs that are in game right now not so hard to be drawing maps, though a detail Kayser have missed to explain is that symbols are hidden on actual tomb screen (not some mini-game, through mini-games you get words for translating books or open some doors), so you have to move around your mouse (which will have a torch effect around it) to light up all corners to find symbols drawn somewhere in rooms.

Well, I write the symbols down anyway, so why not to draw a map. I expected it to be far more room than that and did not see any in game navigation. So did not need a map for Tiltren, but made it as a precaution. I am glad I had one for Arthes.
i figured i said enough and didn't have to explain everything but yea i thought i said you had to look for them in the rooms

Thanks, now worries. I figured that out in my first visit to the tomb after trying to brute force guess the correct combination and learning that this is probably not how it was intended to work. So I started to search and learnt to do that. But I went through Arthese only twice (first time, I though there is a bug and the friend is in the well that I could not reach, because I retreated from the combat), so needed to confirm.
ah the 'Well' my nimble thief with his high dex score tripped and knocked the bucket over LoTRs style i was like ffs i sent the thief not the brute common man

I think bucket is always tripped no matter who activate it so it more of a trap fight then anything though it requires fishing skill to even activate it as well...

i get that i was just saying the irony that this graceful char turns into a clumsy idiot just cos it was scripted that way lol
