Performance issues since patch

since the last update from yesterday I am experiencing heavy stuttering where it was really smooth before...

anybody else similar issues?

Same here, usually during kill animations or explosions. I have also noticed a big change in traits. No Ponies for sale have any traits at all. Mercenaries for hire almost all have at least two negative traits and no positive ones, no traits at all, or a single negative trait and no positive. My party also seems to gain negative traits very quickly. Maniac is the most common, but I have seen them gain a few positives.

In contrast, before the patch, hirelings had a decent mix of traits, gaining traits was slower and made sense. It has definitely made the game more annoying to play. I am certain that a fix and/or clarification will clear this up.

I just bought the game and it stutters constantly, even just walking across the overworld map, despite having a pretty powerful pc (5900x & 3080ti). Was considering just refunding it because it's annoying as hell.

*edit - I tried opengl mode and it seems to be running smoother, at the moment anyway.

Yes, there are some increased lag events, during combat or even the minigames. Overworld travel is still Ok for me.

yea its been rough and on top of that my cpu, gpu and motherboard temperatures are through the roof, reaching 90C.. scared to play now lolz

thanks for the feed back, i was going to buy but will give a while so they can fix the bugs and I am not going to cook my pc for the sake of a game.

Yes, this issue started after the last patch. I hope they will release a fix for this asap, its ruining the game.

HIgh temps are always an issue with inadequate cooling ( poorly designed or built) , failing fans, needs cleaning, overclocking,etc. Its not possible for the game to run at more than the specs that are set on your PC...100% utilization. Its always a your PC issue without exception. They cannot fix a your PC issue. Overdriving your CPU or GPU..not possible. Manufacturer or you ( overclocking ) set the limits.

Very much the same, bad lag issues especially when in combat with snow / rain. Used to run very smoothly before but even in the normal map screen, you get a fair bit of lag / stuttering since the update. CPU runs at around 70C, so all good there.

Same stuff. 8GB RTX 3070 and stutters during fights and lose fps badly from 144 to around 15-30 for couple of seconds. Usually when AI is taking turns. On the world map it seems alright.

You must be joking, It is clear that the fps drops from 100 to 1 when npc's attacks, and other stutter problems that effects the cpu and gpu which then again effects the fans

Haven't played much yet, no lags or ctd but the game turns my pc into a fusion reactor. I lowered the graphics, no change. Fans etc. redone a month ago, other hardware-heavy games don't run that hot, that's not normal.

Yup, Game borks my computer on startup now. It won't even load without doing something funky to the graphics card, fans spin up and locking my machine up. No screens, solid lock.

Thought it was something else, so uninstalled a load of stuff just to have it happen with Wartales.

So yes, game is unplayable and I would really like to keep hold of this graphics card for a little bit longer.
