Bomber Bows

Hi. Used to be able to get these. Now after hitting a legion of the bandits consisting of these troops still haven't got 'em. Even max levels don't give this drop. This weapon unavailable anymore? Anyone knows how to trigger this? Thanks.

its not bandit bowmen, its deserter bowmen who give a chance to drop this.

Bandits /deserter whatever. Every time I see a group I whack 'em. When the types of troop displayed & bomber is present, the anticipation goes up. Battle finished no bomber bow. Which really brings me to the real question - how to get this bow. Do you know how to spawn it? If not well just don't bother.

Haven't seen it drop since the time around Ludern was added. Like a patch or two after. Like around the time you could no longer get to that one spot using pitons that had a chest with the bow in it (Stylish Bow)

I believe you are right User. Darn it just when the rat nest started to respawn in my game. Was gonna farm them. Mr. Developer is this true? This weapon drop no longer work? Can anything be done on your end? Thanks.

Okay just got it today. Never figured it was there. See you have extended the range & damage maybe?Not sure coz my Beast Master is high level. Good job. Thought this loot is lost forever. Great idea to make it as a 1 time loot after the big update. Many thanks devs.

This is a simple equation, in actuality, the weapon and the armour and potentially the shield, of every unit has a weighted potential to drop and considering it's potential damage output, it would seem likely that the stylish bow would have one of the lower weights amongst the parties of which the bomber is part of.
How about increasing your party to actually properly test the drop rate or accept the fact that while you thought it had been removed, for whatever unknown reason, you were proven wrong by it dropping for you.

Glad you got that drop, rompier02.
If your archer has VP on Kill, that weapon should one-shot a pile of rats every turn, and keep you fully stocked on VP.

I had pretty good results with a Brute Vanguard equipped with a heavy 2 hander. The Charge through the rats sometimes did even more than the archer.

There's a recipe for Misty Oil in Vertruse apothecary, which is fantastic vs clumps of animals too.

Thanks. It wasn't a drop. It was in a chest. I agree it is good vs animals. Especially lethal vs Brood mother fights.

That would suck, I think it's a neat weapon dropping fire all over the place.

I've been farming gear for ages, because it's mostly the only endgame activity there is currently. I've seen everything, and have loads of Star Star of pretty much anything you can imagine.

Never once seen that bow (as a drop) nor the Brotherhood Heavy armor.

Yeah. Think they removed it as a drop. That is my opinion . I practically slew legions of deserters to get the drop but it never materialize.

Yeah, relying on getting a piece of gear like this is bad way to plan activities. It's still the best piece of kit for Rat fights IMHO, and also really good in Tombs.

Where did you find it mate? I've checked the location near the ludern bandit cave. There was nothing to loot there. Maybe patched?
