How to capture a Cardinal Mosquito?

I have a merc engage with a mosquito with 10-20% hp surrounded by 2 more merc, yet the icon for capturing animal/prisoner wont show. I have a chain and rope in my inventory.

am i missing something here? *help*

You need a Harag Concotion gotten from the Cursed Village in Lurden..

Makes Mosquito's no longer a threat with that offhand item.
