How to get Scholar profession?

I visited the tomb on Tiltren but none of events there opens me the scholar profession. So I had to leave some rooms uncleared for the future.

How can I get Scholar? This is the only profession I failed to get.

You need to craft the lectern from the tinkerer.

You unlock it when reaching level 2 in Mysteries and Wisdom path.

I already crafted and have it in my campsite since long ago. M and W path level now is 4. Is this a bug?

have you clicked on it after you deployed it? that shoud unlock the job. works the same as getting the cook job.

You mean lectern? I made and deployed long ago. But because there is no scholar, I cannot let someone work for it. I never had option for scholar before and still no options to open scholar. The profession badge icon for scholar is still shown as "?".

Now I have some options to research after the first tomb visit but items is not enough. Yet, no available option of scholar.

Am I bugged? That would be really bad because I already played this party for too long :(

you should of gotten the chance to make a scholar the first time you attempt to use the lectern

Looks like it is a bug. The scholar option never appeared to me when I made the lectern.

it dont comes when you MAKE the lectern, it comes when you first time try to USE it with a rightclick after you placed it.

I replaced and rotated it but no profession notice appeared back then, and still no response. But I will try to research it when I have enough item to research. What items would be a good choice other than items from tomb?

Just click on the professions and it should show a scholar.
failing that pickup the Lectern put it back into the backpack and redeploy it.

I even sold it, and remade it. Still the Lectern does not give me that damn Scholar profession. The last profession icon is still "?" to me. It does not work. If research option not works then this is surely a bug.

There are ten Profession slots.

All the Professions total to 9, so it's natural for the last icon to to be a "?".

What's most likely happening here is that the OP didn't notice the Scholar Profession as it might look similar to one of the other professions like Angler (similar shape) or Bard (same color).

No. Definitely not. I see this correctly and there are NO scholar profession appears in my game even after I sell and create Lectern multiple times.

See this screenshot. You can see the lectern left hand side of the character window. That one is 5th one I remade. Yet, no scholar profession appears nor available for me, just non-clickable "?" icon. I cannot just select the scholar profession.
