How do you keep track of who has already moved each round?
I'm probably missing something really obvious on the combat screen, but how do you keep track of which of your units have already had their turn in any given combat round? So far I've just been employing memory, but thats going to get tough when I have a large number of units.

And for that matter - how can we tell which round it currently is?

If you have a large group it gets to be hectic keeping track. but all the crossed sword blue are your moves before the new round so once the new round symbol is on the line you can see how many are left.

Yeh - reviewing the initiative list on the screen tells you how many more moves you have this turn.

But i don't know of a specific way to see who hasn't moved without touching them.

Oh well, thanks for letting me know I'm not missing anything blatant anyway. I guess I'll have to just keep relying on my failing memory to keep track. I fear I might be a bit too long in the tooth these days to keep up with this game lol :steamhappy:

You can't tell really without just clicking everybody individually. What I've found helpful is:

a) renaming everybody so I know all their names more easily, therefore remember who's gone and who hasn't better.

b) I plan exactly who's going to move first on who and why at battle start with reference to the enemy's turns on the list, which is usually three or four of my team accounted for, and then place my remaining mercs in position to either attack specific targets or support the first wave. This makes it easier to know who's gone and who hasn't since I can recall were they all started, what they were supposed to do and can see where they are now.

But by half way through turn 2 I can be scratching around trying to figure out who hasn't gone yet since it is a rare plan that survives first contact with the enemy.

The obvious solution is a hot key that cycles through your mercs who haven't gone yet this turn. That would be useful and lot's of strategy games, like Civ 6 for example, have got that feature.

Or some kind of indicator around the actual units to show which ones have already taken their turn, like the square around their feet turning red or something. Something readily visible would be ideal.

characters who have finished their turn are grey, those who still can be used are blue

Yeah game changing for me was just figuring out which bad guy was moving next and seeing if I could slay 'em before his turn....

If you hover over the enemies portrait, it'll show you who's moving next. If you click it, it'll focus your camera on them.

Also, for those who don't know, if your characters have moved, their health bars will turn grey. If they are still blue, they haven't moved or done any actions yet.

Ok, cool. I never noticed the thing about the health bars before, so I'll try to look out for that in future. Thanks!

There is a hot key, u can try the ‘tab’ key. It does what u wanted, cycle through units that havnt move yet.

I use the tab key to show which friendly units are still available in the current round. It is muscle memory from xcom.

Try press ALT key; dang~ all units regardless foes and/or allies are highlighted with the same fonts and same colors. Come on, I just want to take a look at my captain and lieutenants.

Didn't notice that either. Thanks.
