joke aside
you can scavenge wood from world map
some quest give you wood for reward (like refugee mission)
some location (like lumber mill) have wood chopping stump
your worrier (guy with axe) can chop wood for you
whiteout any profession
so.. go hire some worrier.
they are good soldiers and good wood cutters
I dont want to get a warrior just to cut wood, my partry is full. It is obvious I think thats why I am asking..........
i am not sure about current ver
but merchants (both settlement merchant and wandering caravans)
sometime sell woods
and...what do you mean full party?
as far as i know, there is no party limit
other than that there are the logpiles you can get and 20 wood when you help the refugees woodworker camp.
but the woodchop stumps trivilise the wood problem mostly if you are at the lookout at each location that you visit.
If you want a balanced party, you'd end up with one of each weapon (knives, bow, spear, club / hammer, sword, axe) to start with. Which means including a guy or gal with an axe.
Since axes are needed to chop wood, you got the person in your party.
What's more important and certainly a lot more convenient; you don't need to choose another specialism for a wood cutter.
So you can pretty well have a 6 person party (including someone with an axe), enter some camps and chop wood at the block without any problem.
Thorin :)
just grab a ax prisoner, same for any skill you don't want to do just use prisoners
Grab the stocks item from ludern jail if you want to keep some skills prisoners so they don't run off
I use them for mining too normally
All your units can multi skill but I find having them all as tinkerers is the best skill bonus
max them out then swap skills
You can swap and change any maxed out skills to suit what you need then
Ovation apart however, 2 of the 8 legendary weapons, the best weapons in the game, which can all be upgraded to level 12 and used at level 12 by a level 9 unit, are axes, so not having axes is less than optimal.
If you were looking to remain as small as possible while being as powerful as possible, you'd still want 8 units, so each of your units uses a legendary and just grow the legendaries as your units level up (legendaries are now upgradable at any companion camp in any region), which would mean the only class you do not have in your party is the most powerful unit of the game, the one handed sword. So 9 or 10 units total (all 8 legendaries and 1 or 2 one hand swords) would be your ideal team at it's smallest.
