Also you might be able to recruit captives but at this moment its not confirmed by players, but its supposed to be possible with today's patch unless something happened to delay that.

Plenty of guys have this as a factor, but yes you get to choose. You can just only recruit women if you want to.
That was "recent" in May 2022 - you seem to have missed the necromancer.

Well the club footed trait is already there to cover a certain amount of physical disability, and then there's always the stupid trait which might apply to some people.....
