Graphics Card going nuts. (overheating)

As soon as i start the game, no matter how low the setting, my GTX 2070 Super goes into turbo mode and the fan goes absolutely bananas. I tried every setting in the options, no change. Anyone else?

I get kind of the same experience. My GPU spins up like crazy and everything is running at 5 fps.

The game opens in a small windows, even if it says fullscreen (3440*1440) in the settings. Changing between fullscreen, borderless and windowed crashed the game.

Same for me, also if i downscale resolution it goes back to my native monitor resolution after every action (exit-enter city, fight,load, etc.), Three hairs market also makes my video driver crash sometimes via leading to game crash, i thinking about refund.

Not sure if this will help, but full screen mode is the only mode currently that allows changing the fps. That is what I use to set it at 60 fps instead of the 170 fps that the game runs on in all other modes. I get 54-60 deg.

I have tried a thousand possible solutions, but I have the same problem. My Radeon RX 580 8GB which works perfectly in other much more demanding games, refuses to work with WarTales, hyperventilating, heating up and leaving the screen black and sometimes disabling its drivers.
Among others, the solutions tested have been: lower the fps to 30, lower resolution, update drivers, remove AMD Adrenalin, clean the computer, etc etc etc

you need to lock fps manually at your graphic cards setups for this game

I have a GTX 1660 and the fans go crazy but no frame rate drops.

Gonna sound stupid as it's the most common answer people give, but, update your drivers, I had the same issue and noticed it didn't recognise my gpu for some odd reason, after an update everything is fine.

Yeah, game seems to be extremely poorly optimized, same deal here on my 2070.

First thing I tried , it's only this one game with issues
And lets face it this is hardly a end end usage game compared to a lot of stuff
so many people shouldn't be getting this many issues

And for me at least I went 350 hrs mostly without major issues, it's since the last patch everything has gone haywire

Really sounds like it is an issue with newer cards. I have an Nvidia Quadro K2200 and have zero issues.
