Can we change captains?

Is it possible to change captains in the game?

The only way to change your current captain or a lieutenant is to dismiss your current one, wait a while and fight a few battles then the game will ask you to appoint a new one. You might also be able to capture your current captain or lieutenant and then releasing and recruiting them again but I haven't tried this method so I dont know if it will work.

I did exactly as stated above. Think I did just one battle without a Captain. Be sure to keep your VP points high before battle.

Thanks, this was helpful. I might try the dismissing method. The only hesitation I have is my captain is quite strong and I don't want to lose him. I'm hoping there is a way to re-recruit a companion after dismissing them.

Got arrested and save scummed till she was removed, got her out of Jail and she now "Feels Betrayed" lol
