What does splint/brace/spider monkey do?

I have a back pack accesory. can you tell me what it does?

I don't know the english translation brace/spider monkey/splint?

It says "It heals whitout using any plants"

If its in a companiona back pack theres a chance they will heal from their wounds during the next rest period. There is also a camp item called " gurney " that heals 1 companion per rest if that companion is assigned to it.

yah the plant thing is off, prob means without using potions. I have it on a prisoner right now to test it until I can get him back to the jail to sale him.

I translate a bit quickly (google trad)

Genus Ateles is the scientific name for Spider Monkey

In french the word I looked for was "Atèle" (brace/splint)

By the way, I now craft a real splint (atèle) and it's for broken bones.
Actually there is but only 2 occurence when searching for wartales and splint ! :s
It does seems very rare (the broken bones) but i'm only on the 2nd region.
At the begining, is it wise to sell it (as 27 gold is still dear to my troup :) ) ?
