"EG- the Sinister Mine mission leaves a body on the ground with a Golden Key. LEAVE the key alone, and put something else in before you take out the key. Once the "container" is stabilized with some item in there, you can stash your heavy carcasses.
OR- the Sawmill close to Stromkapp has 3 "containers" you can use."
This works with many other stashes. That way you have to do a bit of planification during game...But, yes +1 to your idea too.
Regards.
the trader in the middle of the market mostly restocks itemes and you can lose them !
by the way: in general I sell armor, weapons and trinkets always only to the roaming merchants running around - because I don´t want that those items block the inventory of the stationary traders..
important things which I don´t want to lose for sure, I just place into any chest or stash, I come around.. my favourite places are the stashes next to the road .. for example the stash in tiltren, just a few meters south rom border to vertruse is a great location, because you are going there anyway when changing region ! .. first time I loot this stsh I just put something in which I don´t need - so the stash stays open for later !
With bigger patches I would recommend starting a new game anyway.
