Tiltren has 2 chests and one GK.
Vertruse has two GKs - one at Alazar manor and one from the Apothecary Meeting place encounter.
Arthes is s supposed to have one in the Ruins.
Because there is one extra place to use a key, this problem cannot be solved if every lock has to be opened. I would suggest both locks in Tiltren be lockpickable, so we can use it as a spare.
also you can find an additional golden key in the ruins of arthes! .. you can´t open the chest in the ruins and you will miss the codex (which isn´t used anyway) .. but you can at least solve the quest in vertruse !
You also earn a golden key after you beat brunhilde. this golden key is only here to release Corene. But I'm not sure you have to release
go to Arthes
> find the golden key
> don't open the chest
> then go finish vertruse scenario
> beat brunhilde
> take the key (see if you can finish the vertruse quest without releasing Corene, if you can, you're saved)
> go back to Arthes
> open the chest !
But I have to agree in general, they should disable the other chest in mine/camp after looting the first one - or add an additional golden key somewhere ! .. I guess the idea of those 2 chests was, you get a reward depending on the side you chose - so the other chest should not be lootable after siding or at least after looting one of them !
I supposed they planned to add one in another region. They did great with the spare key in tiltren you can use in Arthes!
Could be a simplier solution indeed.
This is a wrought iron key not a golden one sadly.
Quest only advances after Corene is released.
Ah, thank you. I haven't been back to the place since pulling it out and not having a key for it.
and what´s about the ruins key which I suggested?
I still haven't found the ruin key you mentioned about. Which cave is it?
