Hammer

I wanted to move/demolish a few walls that I constructed but not sure how to use the hammer to do it. I have it equipped but it doesn't swing nor can I find a key that works to activate it. Any thoughts?

Hello, I will be glad to help you.

In the main menu and in the pause menu there is a small guide that explains the key combinations.

Take the hammer in your hand and go to your wall and press the Q key, now a menu will open.

Lol the one key I didn't hit! Thank you! I like this game a lot, just wish there were more people. You've done an amazing job with it and it functions better than games that have millions behind it like New World. (which I think is the most boring game I've ever played and I've been playing computer games since MUDS in the late 70's.) I used my axe to get rid of the wall which brings me to another question. It's so easy to take down wood walls and chests. Will there be either metal or stone walls in the future so that it becomes a lot more difficult to destroy someones base? I'm hosting a multiplayer server because I like SOME pvp but not really a fan of having my base totally destroyed within minutes lol.

I am glad that you like it already.

You can also use the hammer to pick up your buildings and furniture to get those resources back. You can also use the hammer to turn your walls from wood to stone.
