SH4 Running but not showing

I've being experiencing a probelm where I click play on SH4UBmissions but nothing happens, it says it is running on steam but doesn't show anything plus i can't close it down. Could anyone help me on this please?

sorry for my bad english and explain. in your game folder you find sh4.exe, right click and select properties. second tab - compatibility below you check mark "Disable display scaling on high dpi settings"

I have same problem. I try to launch game and get error message saying cannot launch, game already running. I completely removed the game, reinstalled and still get same message. problem is with Steam yet they refuse to help. They want me to contact Ubisoft. Any suggestions....anyone?

Hi guys! Here comes the fix for sh4 windows 10, since im deeply in love with silent hunter games i decided to play again, almost every year i play silent hunter 3 4 5 for about 3 monts, dont know cant stop playing.. But who cares bout my story, Well i found the fix to run SH4 on windows 10 in 1080p resolution.

:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunters Wolves of the Pacific\Data\Cfg\Main.cfg

Thats exeactly how the video section in cfg file must look like,

U also disable fullscreen mode in this directory,

But in order to any of these to work, u need Silent Hunter 4: uboat mission add on

Once you instal this add on, and change cfg files, u need to open game and all you do is change resolution to your screen resolution. U dont need to tag the windowed mode, just leave it on as it is, next time you run, your game will work in fullscreen mode, Just never ever tuch the fullscreen settings ingame again.

the game doesn't launch if Windows 10 display scale (or DSR) is not at native 100%.
If set at 100%, the game works fine.
