how similar is the gameplay to aliens dark descent?
i really liked aliens dark descent and have been looking for games similar to it.
i thought shadow tactics was fun but the camera control is absolute garbage and the only thing keeping me from playing that game again.

It's a RTT ie. real-time tactics game like old Commandos and Desperados series.
Some other newer games in RTT genre are mentioned Shadow Tactics but also Shadow Gambit and Desperados III from Mimimi, War Mongrels and 63 Days, Sumerian Six, etc.

It is like Shadow Tactics ... but beware: This game is so buggy and glitchy and unfinished and annoying that bad camera controls would be your least concern.

It's kiiiiiiiindaaaaaaa sameish, but it's very different. It's way closer to the other games told earlier. It's literally Shadow Tactics, but with a Stargate skin and a few changes here and there. You don't control your squad as an entity but each member of your squad individually. I can see how this game look and feel a bit similar to Aliens Dark Descent, but overall it's not the same experience (nor the same atmosphere) at all. Both are stealth RTS with a small squad avoiding to be detected by the enemies patrolling the map so....I guess you could try this one if you enjoyed Alien Dark Descent. But don't expect the same kind of game. Just expect something similar. It's wayyyyyyyyyyy closer to Shadow Tactics.

Also, Shadow Tactics is WAYYY more polished than Stargate Timekeepers so....if you experienced problems with Shadow Tactics' camera....I would finish this one first, and then eventually come back to Stargate Timekeepers if you still feel interested.

Man, i wish ADD got dlc. I like that game too.
