Poor performance; needs DLSS and more graphic options
I wanted to try the demo but have given up at the mission start for one simple reason: crappy performance.

With all settings maxed in 4k on my ryzen 7600x, nvidia 3080, 32GB RAM and NVMe I can't squeeze out more than 30 fps. Changing the available graphic options seems to have little effect on FPS, except for changing the graphic quality slider. Setting that to low was the only way I could manage to get 60 FPS and that simply looks crappy.

For a system that's above the average of what Steam users have I was expecting a better performance.

I'm also surprised that there aren't more graphic options available to change the settings, or that DLSS / FSR isn't available, which would be a huge boost to FPS.

If 4000 series owners is your target audience then all I can say is.. good luck

RTX 4090:
High graphics settings runs as 44 fps with 99% GPU utilization.
Medium graphics is around 70 fps.

Game needs a lot of optimization and perhaps other work..

Just wanted to chime in as well for the devs to take note. Was eager to try the demo and I have a system that's more than powerful enough to play this game (Ryzen 5600, RTX 3070).

Unfortunately the demo stutters heavily every few seconds, it's unplayable in this state. Tried re-installing, rebooting system and lowering resolution and all graphic options to no avail.

Will still keep an eye on this game because I love Stargate and several other Slitherine games (absolutely loved the Terminator RTS demo!) but definitely needs some optimisation work before being released.

I run an RTX 2080 and the game runs smooth in 2k resolution with default settings, performance is good on my end, i've noticed a trend with those 3000 and 4000 series cards running alot of games poorly when my 2000 series is fine for the same product and in alot of cases the same settings.

I run an m.2 ssd
32gb ram
8x5ghz CPU
32 inch 4k monitor(2k resolution for games)

Interesting. Definitely seems to be a weird bug or glitch in my case; it isn't the usual lag or stuttering but a fixed heavy stutter every few seconds.

Might be related to my system as well but never encountered this sort of issue in other games. Can send the devs a log if that's possible or helpful (if one sees this post of course).
