To help find why this is not working as intended could you answer a couple of questions.
Was there anything weird that happened during this area that made you think something wrong had happened ? (minus the no key)
Did you die in the area at all ?
Have you quit and loaded after starting this area before you managed to kill all the enemies?
Do quitting and loading your save fix the issue ?
Nope wouldn't matter, the key falling is triggered on the entire area being cleaned of enemies, and the ramp is on a portion of the enemies, they don't conflict in code at all.
Thanks for the idea though, if you have any more I can use them to check.
Edit: I also didn't have a cutscene play after killing the last few enemies.
Reloaded checkpoint. This time only the enemies on the bottom spawned. Killed them, again no key.
Update: So I went to the save game folder in Explorer and reverted to the save just before the buggy area. This time completed it in one go. Cut scene playe and key dropped as expected.
So seems maybe the bug is related to dyeing somehow?
Hello, sorry it took me so long to respond. I did die in the room 2 times because it took me a bit to figure out what I was supposed to do. On the 3rd try, I cleared the room. After clearing the room, the music returned to normal but there was still a haze over the room.
Two other weird things I noticed during the fight and afterward:
1. The transmitter animations didn't change when I interacted with the switches. They were always "on" and "transmitting" pink waves regardless of whether the switches were activated or not.
2. The floor bubbles and wobbles in the corners when I move around. Trippy!
I was able to reload from a previous checkpoint which put me out near the door to the area, so I was able to leave and continue playing. I haven't gone back but maybe I will try that now.
EDIT: Also, the ramp never dropped for me. It was still straight up in the air after the battle.
Resting to checkpoint and going back down doesn't help.
This should be fixed in the next update. If it's not please get our attention again.
