Smee Thinks I'm Leaving

Hey guys! I found a pretty big bug.
I've finished the Ventureland main quests where I go to Skull Island, disabled the Beetleworx generator, released the sprite to inspire Pete Pan, and then returned to the pirate village, and then saved and quit my game.
However, when reloading in the pirate village, his dialogue is what it is when I left to save the pirates:

Smee seems to be the only one locked in this pocket of time - the rest of the village is as normal having saved the day, happy going about their business.
Poor Smee, guy never gets a break.
