Any way to do “failed” quests?

Thinking it was what I was supposed to do in order to progress his mission, I dropped a crate on this sailor’s head. Now I can’t complete it? That really took the wind out of my sails and I started playing something else.

Do I really need to make a new save file and start the game all over again?

seem there is no way to complete failed quest, as dev respond, no way backtrack the game progress, and this some does not provide multi save slot
edit got multi save, but seem useless

already got few failed quest on my game

Once a quest has failed it is done and there is no undoing it, so yes, you will need a new playthrough (or load an older save if you do manual back-ups--I've made a bunch of them for people to use in case of save file corruption, so let me know if you need one).

now i replaying on paint track, some failed mission at about progress second time go to mickeyjunk, not sure will affected by getting achievement

wrong selling a badge to collector,
select wrong choice for 2 flower quest
and last is bog easy

The only quests that have an effect on the Paint or Thinner run achievements are the Animatronic Ones.

Besides Painting or Thinning the bosses, including Slobbers.

That's a relief, I saved some gremlins and they killed some enemies I planned on painting and was worried that'd be counter against me

Yeah painting or thinning enemies has no effect on either achievement.

Only bosses and Slobbers (besides the one that gets killed by Leona)

slobbers? white figure stone on book area? i killed few when spin thing beside him

edit, i just check youtube video, i don remember which part i paint or tinnier it
