You can revisit all of the projector side scrolling levels from the cinema on Mean Street. As for the rest of the game, the following areas become unaccessible after certain points:
  • everything between the very first room and Mean Street
  • everything from Tomorrow City after reactivating the trams
  • everything after the point of no return (the game will make it very clear when you get to that point)

There is NG+ though.

I think you could revisit most main areas in the original game, but I might be wrong. I think in one of their interviews leading up to the release of this game they said they were adding the ability to revisit certain areas you couldn't in the original.

Around the 4:25 mark they talk about revisiting the 2D sections.

Thanks for clarification. So what's the strats for a 100% playthrough (not Steam achievements) ? NG+ and memory?

There is no 100% walkthrough yet, to the best of my knowledge. I would recommend the following:

Do one playthrough along the thinner route (thin everything, including the enemies) and leave the animatronics unrepaired. If there's an option that will hinder and NPC but reward you (e.g. the chest and the gremlin on the catapult, or Gilda's axe), choose the selfish option. Then go to NG+ and do the paint route (paint everything, including the enemies), and repair all animatronics. Choose the "selfless" quest actions.

Or vice versa, either works. Concept arts are listed mostly in the order in which they appear in-game, btw. Explore extra carefully in areas listed above as no return areas.

Personally, I'd recommend making a back-up save from before the point of no return and/or just after the start of NG+, so that if you missed something, you don't have to replay the entire game.
