Spyro is also 40€ for 3 games, which judging from the trailers are at least as upgraded.
Epic Mickey is reskinned ok but the old bones show, in the bare combat, the limited painting mechanics. By today’s standards is an indie game.
Fact is many recent remakes are so overpriced it feels wrong to support them. See the latest from Square Enix, Fantasian an iOS port at 50€ and Dragon Quest III HD 2D at 60€? Like Elden Ring and Baldurs Gate 3? There is an abundance of better indie and barely old AAA games for less.
That can easily add up to around 60 hours of content, which is more than worth 60 bucks.
That's a lot of words just to say "I can't admit I'm wrong."
Nah.
By the way the game already have 11.5h main+side stats today, going up, but still not enough data. Just check the reviews, people enjoying beating the game with 12+ hours, one almost 100% it in 20ish hours. Look I just wanted to say it's not 6 hours to get people better informed at that point. Moving on.
However, i beleive that the next Mickey mouse game will be a lot more successful if it is based on the comics. I mean the weekly Mickey Mouse comic that releases each Friday . Where he lives in Mickey City with Goofy and works as a detective and fights the bad guys.
A action Mickey Mouse game like this will be very popular i beleive.
I've done two playthroughs in 24 hrs and have 100% all of the achievements and done all the side quests. Even if they added an achievement for collecting all the pins I'm only missing roughly 20 pins and I could have gotten them in my 2nd playthrough if I wanted to. Not sure where you're getting 60 hours of content out of it.
Even one in depth playthrough is only 15-16 hours. Most people only playthrough once. Imagine getting only 15-16 hours for $60. I got mine on another site for $40.
Im not so sure THQ nordic will be around much longer, its been flop after flop for them.
