Changing Key Binds?
Is there any way to change the key binds? I don't want to buy a controller just for the sake of 1 game. I only wish to change the Right Click to another key, at least while I have my current laptop. I only got it this year, so I won't be changing for a while yet.

Yes and no. You can change key bind, but for e.g. changing a button for opening photo mode can't be changed. Similar for some others

I'd want to change Right click into something else, maybe left Alt? Where do I change stuff? Is it that I'm using the Demo, that I couldn't find where to change it?

In the full game, you can change your keybinds under Game Settings > Input. In the demo, this option is not available.

Thanks.
Is Right click one of the "keys" you can change?

Right click is unfortunately also bound to the function for undoing changes, so no.

The one key bind I want to change I can't change... Will there be an update to allow us to swap paint/thinner to the other mouse button?

It is possible to rebind paint/thinner to LMB/RMB respectively via a clever workaround. Follow these exact steps very carefully:
  1. Go to Options->Game Settings->Input
  2. Press E to go to the Remap Input screen
  3. Hover over the "Shoot/Splash Paint" M&KB binding (which should be RMB by default) and press LMB once to enter 'Change Input' mode, then press LMB again to assign LMB to "Shoot / Splash Paint." With LMB now assigned to this action, "Shoot / Splash Thinner" should change to show a red X over its M&KB binding (since it was previously using LMB by default).
  4. Hover over the "Shoot/Splash Thinner" M&KB binding (which again, should now be showing a red X). Here's the clever part: press LMB once to enter 'Change Input' mode, and then press and hold RMB to assign RMB to "Shoot/Splash Thinner." Continue holding RMB. DO NOT release it, or your binding will be discarded due to an oversight by the devs (RMB acts as the "Discard Changes" button; they need to modify this in an update!). Instead, while RMB is being held, press Z to save your changes. Now you can safely release RMB!

After step 4, "Shoot/Splash Paint" should be assigned to LMB and "Shoot/Splash Thinner" should be assigned to RMB. Now, go have some fun!

Appreciate it, thank you!
