I played the demo, liked a lot except for....Gus.

Is ALWAYS telling what to do in the full game?

Gus usually appears at the start of a new area or when something big happened that opened up a new area or such. His interruptions are much more frequent in the beginning of the game, due to that being the tutorial section.
