Wii Remote compatibility?
Hey, I just heard about this on YouTube. I'm really interested to see how this turns out as a fan of the original. I don't know if this is already been discussed but is the game compatible with a Wii Remote? Thanks!

If the crosshair can be moved separately, then you may be able to use Wii remotes, but it may require complicated steps to set it up (e.g. Bluetooth pairing, utilizing old GlovePIE scripts, etc).

Wii controllers have lesser number of buttons, so you may be unable to use certain moves/actions new to the remake release. Using PlayStation controllers with motion controls built-in may be a better option.

It was ported to UE5, right? If so, then fire it up in UEVR and use modern motion controls...it's impressive how well UEVR works...though, some games require more attention than others to work appropriately. UEVR is why I can't wait to get a 50 PPD head set...Stray and Kena: Bridge of Spirits look amazing on PCVR, but the resolution on distant objects (on quest 3) definitely will be better.

Okay, thank you, This really helps, it sucks that it's not Will Remote compatible like the original but it's not really a deal breaker either. Just curious as I would love to set up a Wii remote if possible without compromising the game quality. I have some old Wii Remotes but I think I'll just stick to DS4. Thank you!

You can bind gyro controls in the steam controller settings. (bind gyro to mouse)
