If the crosshair can be moved separately, then you may be able to use Wii remotes, but it may require complicated steps to set it up (e.g. Bluetooth pairing, utilizing old GlovePIE scripts, etc).
Wii controllers have lesser number of buttons, so you may be unable to use certain moves/actions new to the remake release. Using PlayStation controllers with motion controls built-in may be a better option.
Okay, thank you, This really helps, it sucks that it's not Will Remote compatible like the original but it's not really a deal breaker either. Just curious as I would love to set up a Wii remote if possible without compromising the game quality. I have some old Wii Remotes but I think I'll just stick to DS4. Thank you!
