Nope, if it's built from the ground up, it's a remake. There is no debating that.

then there are reboot, are remakes but more extreme (exemple doom 2016 to doom 1993)
Reboots are typically more than remakes. They are continuations of franchises either directly as sequels or otherwise. Reboots are also their own entity since they are also built from nothing (GoW 2018, Doom 2016, etc).
and if you think im wrong or anything, this isn't invented by me, billions of people agree with this...
You think billions care about this? lol no and even so you are still incorrect.

I made a lot of posts here that talks clearly, if it build from the ground is technically a remake, but if it's the exact same it's not, if my Lego broke and I rebuild it with some little slight changes it's a remastered, if I build it with the same concept but different it's a remake... Imagine resident evil 2 rebuild from the ground but exept the graphic it's the exact same, it's not a remake, the resident evil 2 remake it's a remake...

Remake does not mean they literally remaking it and stop, it means remaking the progression, story, concep, events... Not literally remaking it

For me it was ok, it stuttered one time for 0.4 seconds so it was alright...

ah ok. so it's gonna be a "varies person to person" experience.

You literally described how 90% of video games technical problems are...

I know, I read your posts, but your opinion is still wrong. "Technically correct" is still correct. Your Lego analogy fails since you're still using all the same pieces. A remake would be built from the ground up, or in Lego terms, with newly created pieces.

Remake can mean literally remaking a thing. They can also add things, but they don't always.

I can confirm with the current demo it's a stuttering mess.

Closing this topic now as it keeps on going in circles and now also off-topic.
