this comment have a clown, and this scare me... what even is this thread now?!
I don't know... I heard that there is new things like dash, run etc. But if the level design, progression and things are the same only with better graphics, like if you play the og you can orient yourself without even open the game... It's a remastered, with updated things obviously... To be a remake it needs to have still the important parts but changing the progression and level design, like resident evil remakes do...
Just played the demo. Yep, stutters like hell on my 4070ti.
Also not a remake, as it is mostly the same game with some design changes.
I'd call it a remix.
if the assets are new but the rest of the game is exactly the same it's a remastered... maybe you are right techncally, but practically in pop culture you are not...
remastered= same game with maybe some updates in movement, some new things added to the gameplay maybe like another move (like floor punch or air dash), and practically the same game updated... (exemples: crash bandicoot n sane trilogy, counter strike source, dark souls remastered)
remake= the story and events are the same, the basics things are the same, but the game change, the level design is different, things are cut, there are new things, there are more things, order of events is maybe change, story progression change like seeing chracters sooner... (exemples: resident evil 4 remake, dead space remake, the new silent hill, and not this)
then there are reboot, are remakes but more extreme (exemple doom 2016 to doom 1993)
and if you think im wrong or anything, this isn't invented by me, billions of people agree with this...
d oyou think the topic now is to tell if the game is a remastered or a remake? nah, it was... then the topic now is what is a remake and a remastered, sorry but if people are ignorant i can't do anything my last post up there explain perfectly...
Technically yes, practically is another story...
