GWX mod will not install

Hi all, any help would be most welcome! Yesterday i tried installing my old version of sh3 but could not get it to run. so i uninstalled it and bought sh3 from Steam...good news the game works so i decided to install GWX 3.0..bad news it says it cant install because it needs a clean sh3 to work on...thing is ive not got any mods on it so have no idea what to get rid of! any ideas?

That part is causing you the problem. Delete all SH3 related file such as Save Folder, Register Key. Delete Steam version also while your doing this, and make your computer totally clean about SH3. Than re-install your Steam version and install GWX3.0. Good Luck.

Hi, I have the same problem is there any chance you could give me a quick step by step guide on how to completely uninstal the steam SH3? Im doing something wrong.

Never gonna happen, Ive tryed to uninstall every thing but I still cant get GWX to install.
