Yes, it worked for right out of the box, some people need to use compatibility mode.

I don't know why people are lying to you. It will not work unless you change your resolution to 4:3 standard.

Worked for me right after download. Did not change any settings just launched the game and played.

I have win 7 32bit and I have no problems, I do not think there is really a differnce between 32bit and 64bit except processing bit speed per second.

How ever..

Its the graphics that would be in question. SH3 uses a fixed res settings. And on one of my old cards everything was fine except when looking at the map charts, all the grid numbers were dotted out, zoomed or not..Changed to a new card, and I don't have the problem anymore.

So it seems the graphics card would be the question I think..

I don´t know why you are lying about this, the op posts just above you that it works..
You can set your gfx driver or your screen to scale the game to fit the screen. Keep the aspect ratio or the game will look stretched. But you will have to live with black borders ;)

No, it doesn't.
I went on Subsim, and downloaded a mod to where it would allow the 1920x1080 resolution
It crashed my game, so I had to take out the files. It will only work 4:3, but I don't mind it.

Nobody is lying here, just some of us have different computers.
I just stick with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ resolution and sink nice ships, I wouldn't bother changing it.
You get used to it after a while.

I just reacted to his post, stating that you have to set your resolution to 4:3....
I do not have to set the resolution of my screen before starting the game, I have my gfx driver set to let the screen scale the game to fit the screen while keeping the 4:3 aspect. I can live with the black borders ;)
