1920x1080 possible ?

Hi all, it's possible to play SH3 with my new screen (27p Iiyama GB2773HS) at 1920x1080 ?
If it's yes, how please, many thank's !

Yes it is, however there is an issue. By using this mod http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=1092 you can change the resolution to whatever you want, however 1080p in particular has an issue where the mouse will default to your fire button everytime you exit periscope view, causing you to unwittingly fire a torpedo. However this can be fixed using this, but it can be tedious, the instructions for fixing 1080p can be found in this thread: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=128448

If you're willing to settle for something in the 16xx by 10xx range you will incur no problems

I install as it should be the mod (i follow the readme) but I have a crash at the launch of games just after the intro video :(

I use Living SH3 mod together with 1600x1200. (the resolution mod mentioned b4 is included in LSH3) Cant start with steam though, have to use the SH3 application in the game folder.

Please where do you put these files for resolution ? In Mods as usueal ?

Extract in: Silent Hunter 3\MODS file. (open read me file in the mod files for full info). Activate the mod using JSGME, which you should already have installed for adding mods.

Note: this month a new super mod for SH3 has been released LSH3 2015 edition! haven't tried it yet but will soon do. i just read that it is more compatible for 1080p.

If you installed the GWX mod you can not mix in LSH3 mod with it. These are what is called super mods. They make major changes in the use of everything. Usally with super mods you have to uninstall the game and reinstall it before installing the next mod.

It is common for old school Silent Hunter III players to create a folder called hold or something and copy the default game data folder in it, so they can install a mod in the exsiting game data folder.

That way they can rename the data folder and copy the other data folder out of the holding folder and have the default game again to install a differnt mod. How ever you can not play the save game from one mod to another..
