Where to download GWX3?

I've been looking for GWX 3.0 and haven't been able to download it. All the links I find link to Filefront, long since gone. Is there another place?

The link you should use is:

To open and install this link, you will need Torrent software. This was the real hang-up for me as I didn't know what that was and thus didn't play GWX for a long time. I came to find out Torrent isn't that big of a deal. There are a lot of free software applications on-line that are designed to download and open torrent files, just make sure that its a reputable company to avoid downloading malware.

Lastly, GWX is best played when moded to the Steam version of Silent Hunter 3 (the CD box version from back in the day has a lot of unresolved bugs with GWX). Moding it to steam requires re-routing the path to the Steam folder when installing GWX, instead of a non-existent Ubisoft directory which is where the CD game would normally be.

Lastly...if using Windows 10, set GWX to a open in Windows XP S2 compatibility mode. The game will crash to the the desktop nearly every time if running cold on Windows 10.

I think I recall that error message appearing on my machine as well. I still was able to download and install the program, it had saved to my desktop even though the error message appeared in Torrent.

I just downloaded it all from the mediafire and compiled the parts into a folder. Worked well enough and downloaded faster than usual actually. But the hatches aren't open still for some reason.
